The Modi government has announced the Pradhan Mantri Karam Yogi Maandhan Yojana PM-KYM Scheme for retail traders and small shopkeepers, traders in the first budget of its second term. Presenting the Union Budget 2019-20, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced this Pradhan Mantri Karam Yogi Maandhan Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Karam Yogi Maandhan Yojana). This government scheme will provide a pension of Rs 3,000 per month to small traders and shop owners, businessmen. Pradhan Mantri Karmayogi Pension Yojana (PM Karmayogi Mandhan Yojana) will benefit from 3 crore retail traders and small shopkeepers.

Those traders whose annual turnover is 1.5 crores or less will also be given a monthly pension of Rs 3,000 under the PM Karam Yogi Maan Dhan Scheme. The special feature of Pradhan Mantri Karmayogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-KYM Scheme) is that only Aadhaar and PAN card will be required to fill the online application form or to register for this scheme (PM-KYM Scheme Online Registration & Application Form).

The PM Karmayogi Maandhan Yojana is similar to the recently launched Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, which covers retail traders and small shopkeepers and the PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana covers the unorganized sector employees with a pension of Rs 3,000 Meets after attaining the age of one year.

Pradhan Mantri Karmayogi Maandhan Yojana Important Eligibility, Qualification

To avail the benefit of PM Karmayogi Maandhan Pension Yojana or before registering online (PM-KYM Scheme Apply Online Form), the applicant must have the following necessary eligibility and qualification.

PM Karam Yogi Maan Dhan Scheme Eligibility Criteria:-

  • All traders and small shopkeepers across the country, who are 60 years or more, will be entitled to avail of this pension.
  • According to PM Karam Yogi Maandhan Yojana, the annual turnover of the beneficiary traders should be less than 1.5 crores.
  • Online application for Pradhan Mantri Karmayogi Maandhan Pension Yojana, the beneficiary age should be between 18 to 40 years to register.

PM Karmayogi Manadhan Pension Scheme Necessity – So far no government at the Center had run any scheme to the business community after its retirement. So that he can be provided financial assistance during his old age.

Pradhan Mantri Karmayogi Maandhan Yojana online application/registration

To do online registration (PM-KYM Pension Scheme) for PM Karam Yogi Mann Dhan Pension Scheme, the applicant must first have an Aadhaar card. In order to apply for the PM-KYM scheme online (PM-KYM Scheme Apply Online Form & Registration), the candidate has to go to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and register himself. After which he will have to pay the premium amount according to his age (PM-KYM Scheme Premium Amount)

Example: If the age of the candidate is 29 years, then he will have to deposit 100 rupees as premium every month and the same amount will be deposited by the central government Will do.

When the PMKYM beneficiary becomes 60 years old, he will start getting Rs. 3,000 per month as pension.

PM Karmayogi Maandhan Pension Scheme Beneficiary Selection – The selection of the applicant candidate for the PM-KYM Scheme (Pradhan Mantri Karam Yogi Maandhan PM-KYM Scheme Candidate Selection) will be done on the lines of necessary documents. The applicant will have to submit a savings account, Aadhaar card and Self Declaration with the candidate.
